I began to sing at the early age of 5 yrs old. Through the years I developed my skills by singing to songs by artist such as Carmen, Micheal W. Smith and Bryan Duncan. As a teen I would lip sync to developed my stage presence. Unfortunately, in 1993 I left the Lord and started on a journey in the world singing Karoake to songs by Huey Lewis, Glen Fry and Grand Funk. But now I am back with the Lord to stay PRAISE GOD! Now, I'd like to tell you about some things that have come about in my life. When I was a teen and twenty-something and was doing all this "for the Lord", I looked back on my life and realized that I wasn't doing it for the Lord, but all this time I was doing it for myself and the pleasure of entertaining people. I believe this lead to my downfall away from the Lord. If I don't make Him the center of my life there is no use in making Christian music..
So this time around I will do it right and make music for Him and His people with the gifts He has given me. I won't dwell on. "will I get that record deal, will I get notice". I only want to dwell on God's will.
So from now on I will be the best example of His love. I want to create the best music for HIM. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'll still entertain people with music. This time around I will make Him the focal point of everything I do and direct any praise shown to me, directly back to Him. AMEN!
